Police are asking for help with identifying two suspects in connection to a stolen wallet and multiple credit cards.
CLINTON, CT — Clinton Police are asking for the public’s help with identifying two suspects accused of purchasing more than $4,000 worth of gift cards with credit cards from a stolen wallet. On June 1, Clinton Police received a report of a stolen wallet and during the course of the investigation, police believe that it was taken from the PF Changs restaurant located at the West Farms Mall. Multiple credit cards were then used to purchase gift cards at Target Stores in Southington and Waterbury, according to police.
Police say two suspects have been identified and can be seen in the surveillance photos above purchasing the gift cards with the stolen credit cards. The first suspect is described by police as a Hispanic male wearing a black and red polo shirt and black pants. The suspect can be seen wearing a Kangaroo-style hat and black shoes as he leaves the store.
The second suspect is described by police as a male wearing a tan baseball hat, glasses, a black full buttoned-down shirt, dark colored pants and dress shoes. The total value in gift card purchases is $4,032.01, according to police.
