Local artist Sylvia Bicki selected for juried exhibition

Local artist, Sylvia Bicki of Clinton was selected to have one of her works of art exhibited in the 74th Annual Connecticut Artists Juried Exhibition at the Slater Memorial Museum in Norwich.

More than 360 pieces were submitted by Connecticut artists for consideration which was reduced to 130 that were accepted. The selections were judged by Michelle Hargrove, Deputy Director of the New Britain Museum of Art.

Sylvia’s textile portrait of “Catlin’s Chief White Cloud” was one of those selected by Hargrove for the exhibit.

The exhibit opened on January 28th and runs through March 31st at the Slater Museum
