Man Robs Bank in Westbrook

Police are seeking information after the man made off with a sum of cash.

WESTBROOK, CT — State Police are seeking information on a man who robbed the Key Bank on the Boston Post Road Friday afternoon.

Police responded around 4:32 p.m. The suspect implied he had a weapon, but didn't display one. He fled on foot with cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, unshaven, wearing black rimmed sunglasses and a navy blue colored hooded rain jacket with a white colored "Polo" logo.

The suspect was also wearing a white colored undergarment covering his wrist and hands and was wearing jeans. The suspect may have fled in a grey colored SUV type vehicle parked in the rear of an adjacent business.

No injuries were reported during the incident.
