Man Stole Employee’s Cellphone At Clinton Crossing Outlet Mall: Police
Police are asking for assistance with identifying the suspect.
CLINTON, CT — The Clinton Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect accused of stealing an employee’s cellphone at the Clinton Crossing Outlet Mall. Police said the theft took place on Aug. 27 at the Aeropostale store located at the mall.
Police said the suspect waited for the employee to put her phone down on a table fixture and was then seen on surveillance video walking over to the table, reach were the cellphone was placed, and then walk toward the exit of the door while slipping the phone in his pants pocket. The suspect is described by police as a Hispanic male about 5-feet, 10-inches to 6-feet tall, approximately 35 to 40 years old, weighing approximately 200 pounds, with dark slicked back hair.
