Missing Clinton Man Located in New York City: UPDATE

Police said the man went missing from his group home on Thursday and is believed to have traveled to New York City via train.

CLINTON, CT — In an update late Saturday night (Dec. 24), Clinton Police said Edmond Frimpong, 32, who had been reported missing on Dec. 22, was located by JFK Airport Police at JFK Airport in New York City. He was found to be safe and secure. No further information was immediately available.

CLINTON, CT — Police say a man who was reported missing from a group home in Clinton on Thursday is believed to have traveled to New York City.

A Silver Alert was issued late Thursday night for Edmond Frimpong, 32, who is described as black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 6-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs 260 pounds. He was last seen at 1 p.m. on Dec. 22.

In a Friday morning update, Clinton Police said Frimpong, who does not drive, is believed to have traveled to New York City via train. He used a bank card on lower 8th Avenue in New York, according to police.

Police said Frimpong is in need of medications that he doesn’t have with him.
