Obituary: Bernarda (Feliciano) Felix, 92

On Sunday May 13 Bernarda (Feliciano) Felix, 92, passed away peacefully at Wadsworth Glen in Middletown. Bernarda was born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. She moved to Connecticut with her family in 1959 where she lived in Clinton, and then Madison for many years. She was predeceased by her husband Taurino Felix, and two sons, Victor and Ramon.

She leaves behind her sons and daughters: Jaime & Anna Felix (Guilford), Israel & Annie Felix Feliciano (Las Vegas NV), Maria Felix (Middletown), Carmen Baez (New Britain), Blanca & Robert Woodard (Middletown), Linda & Craig Benedict (Efland NC), Harry Felix (Branford), Edwin Felix (Clinton), and Noel Felix (St. Mary’s GA), as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St., Guilford at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 18 with burial to follow at St. George Cemetery on Rt. 77 in Guilford. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 17 at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Middlesex Hospital Hospice & Palliative Care, 28 Crescent Street, Middletown, CT 06457-3650.
