Obituary: Dan E. Vece, 93, of Clinton

CLINTON, CT — Dan E. Vece, 93, of Clinton passed away July 20, 2016 at his home. Father of Jacqueline Vece of Bristol, Robert (Tammy) Vece of South Windsor and Ann (Jeff) Rohrberg of Westbrook. Son of the late Schley and Anna Marino Vece. Brother of Antoinette "Toni" Florentine of Branford and Florence "Dolly" Vece of Hamden. He is also survived by his longtime love Jane Marshall who brought light and love to his life and his nieces and nephews.

Prior to his retirement Dan worked for Air France and also worked for Swan Funeral Homes for many years. He was a WWII Army Air Corp veteran.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Trinity Lutheran Church, 109 Main St. in Centerbrook for a Memorial Service on Saturday morning at 11:00. Burial will be private. There will be No Calling Hours.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
