Obituary: Doris Wahle, 96, Of Clinton

CLINTON, CT - Doris C. (Kropf) Wahle, 96, died peacefully at Chesterfields in Chester on December 12, 2017. Born in West Orange, New Jersey to Caroline and Henry Kropf on August 23, 1921, she lived most of her life in Clinton, CT, where she raised her family. Her last few years were spent in Chester with her daughter Lisa Wahle and son-in-law, Peter Auster. Doris was a homemaker for many years and went to work at the age of 60, selling women's apparel at various local stores. She had a great sense of style and loved working with people. Doris is predeceased by her former husband Theodore M. Wahle and son Theodore B. Wahle. She is survived by Lisa and Peter, her son Mark Wahle, daughter Judith Radcliffe, granddaughters Julie Bjorkman and Mia Clair, and grandson and wife, Allyn and Lisa Foss. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Hanna and Brett Bjorkman, and Emma and AJ Foss.
