John M. Sortito Sr., 70, beloved husband of Rosemarie Cervero Sortito of Clinton passed away March 24, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Loving father of Jennifer Sortito of East Haven and John M. Sortito, Jr. of West Haven. Son of the late James and Assunta Borelli Sortito. Caring brother of Mary Ann (Michael) Pace of Clinton. Brother-in-law of Elizabeth Dwyer of North Branford, Uncle of Donna (John) Prete, Michele (Kenneth) Rowe, Shawn (Haley Lutar) Dwyer, and Melissa (Richard) Piche. Also survived by 3 great nieces and 2 great nephews. Prior to his retirement John was an electrician for IBEW Union Local 90. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.

Friends may call at the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven FRIDAY April 20, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM. A Christian Service will be held at 7:00 followed by military honors. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at www.stjude.org.
