Noreen Theresa (Dunphy) Braza, 84, of Clinton, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 27, 2018. Born on November 11, 1933, in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd T. and Mildred (Joyce) Dunphy. She grew up with her older brother Sonny and attended Catholic schools. Through her brother, she met her late husband of 60 years, Edward P. Braza, Sr.

In 1966, the family moved to Clinton where Noreen became a realtor, and also became a member of the Democratic Town Committee, and loved to sing with the Clinton Choral Club. In her retirement years, Noreen learned to play the piano and tried clogging, Irish dancing. She also adored her “ferocious“ dog Poopsie, a lovable Chihuahua. She and her husband traveled extensively, visiting Ireland, Italy, France, Spain and Mexico and cruised the Caribbean. Her fondest memories were of the summers in Jamestown R.I. with her family and eating clam cakes. If you asked Noreen what her favorite pastime was, it would be playing the slots in Atlantic City and at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.
