Obituary: Robert Earl Corson, Clinton Fire Department Member

Corson enjoyed woodworking, restoring classic cars and fishing.

Robert Earl Corson, of Clinton, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2015, at his home.

He was born on July 16th 1943 in Milford, Maine, the son of Melvin and Elsie Corson.

Robert was a longtime resident of Clinton, he was a member of the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department.
He enjoyed woodworking, restoring classic cars and Fishing.

His true joy in life was his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Survived by loving wife of 50 years, Ronne Jewell Corson; Children Gail Rios and her husband Carlos, Robert J Corson and his wife Barbara, and Andrew J. Corson and his wife Kerry, all of Clinton. Brothers, Norman M. Corson of Glenbum, ME and Kenneth A. Corson of Clinton; grandchildren Christopher D. Ohidy and Erin N. Corson. He was predeceased by his son Timothy L. Corson and his grandson Joshua R. Corson.

The family wishes to extend gratitude to the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions in his memory can be made to the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 17, with a memorial service beginning at 6:30 p.m., at Swan Funeral home, 80 E Main St., Clinton.

Immediately following the memorial service, everyone is invited to an after service gathering at the Cllinton Fire Dept., 35 E. Main St., Clinton.
