Obituary: William Eric Hall , 64, of Clinton

William Eric Hall , 64, of Clinton, died at his home Saturday, September 9, 2017. He was the husband for 41 years of Deborah Bixby Hall. Eric was born in Darby, PA to the late William English and Shirley Harold Hall.

He graduated with highest honors in 1975 from the Electrical Engineering program at Drexel University, Philadelphia PA. He was as an applied research scientist. Over the last 25 years he has been an integral member of the Thomas J. Watson Labs at IBM, Hawthorne NY and is the holder of many patents. Eric was a longtime member of the Old Saybrook Racquet Club.

He is also survived by a brother–in–law, Mark Bixby of Wayne, PA.

Funeral services were private. A celebration of Eric's life will be held in the near future.
