Opening Date Announced For New Ice Skating Rink In Westbrook

WESTBROOK, CT — Officials have announced that Skate Westbrook, the new ice skating rink at the Westbrook Outlets, will open on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. The shopping center is located at 314 Flat Rock Place in Westbrook.

The grand-opening weekend operating hours are as follows: 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15 and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 16.

Located in Suite A150, across from H&M, Skate Westbrook “promises a season full of family fun offering open skate hours, learn to skate lessons and special events,” according to a press release. “In fact, skaters are invited to meet Santa Claus and his elves, Saturday, Dec. 22 from 1-3 p.m.”

Children ages 3 and under are admitted for free and the cost is $5 for students and military and $7 for adults. Skate rentals are $3.
