Parking Ban Announced in Clinton

CLINTON, CT — Due to the impending snowstorm, officials have announced a town-wide parking ban in effect from 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8 until 6 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 10. All cars are to be removed from public roads and parking areas to allow for snow removal operations.

“Our dedicated crews from The Clinton Department of Public Works along with the State DOT crews, will be out clearing our streets during this time,” Clinton Police said in a post on Facebook. “Please make it easier for the snow removal crews by not leaving your vehicles in the street. Any vehicle found parked or abandoned on a public street may be towed at the vehicle owners’ expense.”
