Scott, McAllister, Kimmett: Recent Death Notices From Clinton

CLINTON, CT — Recent death notices from Clinton.
Michael Patrick McAllister, 66, a former Metro-North Railroad conductor who enjoyed golfing, boating, playing setback, cheering for the New York Giants, telling stories, planning practical jokes, taking coastal drives, eating local chowder and lobster rolls, and vacationing in Misquamicut, died peacefully in his sleep on Jun. 17.
Alan Arnold Burghardt, 86, a U.S. Navy veteran, former hardware salesman and mechanic, and skilled builder of 18th- and 19th-century wooden ship models whose work was donated to the Captain Nathaniel B. Palmer House Museum, died Jun. 14, after a life that included boating, camping, photography, travel, storytelling, research, museum visits and detailed workshop craftsmanship.

James “Jim” C. Kimmett, 66, a University of Connecticut graduate and longtime medical dosimetrist at Yale New Haven Hospital who enjoyed sailing, snowboarding, playing soccer with his children and taking annual family camping trips to Maine, died at home on Jun. 11.
Ronald H. Scott, 92, died peacefully at home on Jun. 9, 2026, and is survived by his daughters Gloria Scott, Teresa Beckwith, Doreen Edwards and Lynn Mustaro, five brothers, four sisters, 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, and was predeceased by his wife Loris Scott, son Ronald Scott Jr., brother Noel Scott and sister Fanny Scott.
