Several Storm Chances in Clinton’s 7-Day Forecast

CLINTON, CT — It’s going to be an extremely hot and humid day in Connecticut but it looks like Clinton will be spared with temps expected to reach a high of 86 degrees.

The majority of the state is under a Heat Advisory or Hazardous Weather Outlook, but no advisories have been issued for Clinton.

Temperatures in Clinton will feel like a high of 93 degrees in the late afternoon as opposed to the majority of the state where temps will be in the low to mid 90s and the heat index will make it feel like 100 to 104 degrees at times in the afternoon.

The entire state may see showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening hours on Monday.

The best chance for thunderstorms is from late Monday afternoon and up until midnight.

Tuesday is another hot day and after that the temps head south a bit and back into the 80s for all of Connecticut but there appears to be stormy weather ahead possibly on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with thunderstorms possible each day.

• Tonight: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 71. Southwest wind 6 to 9 mph.
• Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 88. West wind 7 to 11 mph.
• Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 65. North wind around 6 mph.
• Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 88. Light and variable wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
• Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67.
• Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 85.
• Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69.
• Friday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84.
• Friday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68.
