Shoreline-Area Food Truck Leaving Madison, Coming to Clinton

The food truck will be operating in Clinton starting this weekend.

A Madison food truck vendor is moving to neighboring Clinton, Jack Kramer reports from The Source.

Greg Sharon, owner and president of Taco Pacifico will be parking at Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets starting this weekend.

According to the paper, Sharon has already stopped operating at night on the North side of School Street. Looking at how quick the Board of Selectmen was to move the food trucks to the less visible Academy Street, where business suffered, Sharon’s strategy is to seek out other vending opportunities in the event the trucks are forced to move again.

At Monday’s Board of Selectmen meeting, residents asked the board to rescind their Sept. 22 decision allowing the food trucks to operate on the North side of School Street. The selectmen took no action on the issue.
