Shots Fired from BB Guns Damages Vehicles in Clinton: UPDATE

Police release surveillance photos of possible suspects and vehicle involved in vandalism incidents.

CLINTON, CT — In an 8 p.m. update, Clinton Police have released surveillance photos of possible suspects connected to the vandalism of several parked cars that were damaged by shots fired by a BB gun on Sunday.

Police said at least six vehicles in the parking lots at Shop Rite, Stop & Shop and Clinton Crossings were damaged.

Clinton Police say the Waterford Police Department is also investigating several vehicular vandalism cases that are similar to the ones that occurred in Clinton. The Waterford Police investigation has developed a surveillance photo of two white males that maybe involved in this matter, according to Clinton Police.

Police also released a photo of a vehicle that is believed to be associated with the two individuals. The vehicle appears to be a dark-colored Chevrolet (possibly a Cobalt), according to police.

Anyone with information on the individuals pictured in the surveillance photo is asked to contact the Clinton Police Department at 860-669-0451. All information will be kept confidential.

CLINTON, CT — At least six vehicles were damaged by shots fired from BB guns at various parking lots in Clinton on Sunday, according to police. Police said vehicles in the parking lots at Shop Rite, Stop & Shop and Clinton Crossings were damaged.

Police said the unknown suspects shot out of windows using a BB gun and the crimes apparently occurred in the early evening hours.

No suspect description is available at this time, according to police.

Police are also investigating if there is a connection to related incidents that occurred in Waterford on the same date.
