Suspects Used Fake Bills At Dunkin’ Donuts: Police
Police are asking for help with identifying the suspects.
WESTBROOK, CT — Connecticut State Police are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying two suspects accused of using counterfeit bills at Dunkin’ Donuts. At about 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 7, the suspects entered the Mobil gas station and Dunkin’ Donuts, located just off I-95 at 198 Essex Road in Westbrook, and used counterfeit $20 bills to make a purchase at the Dunkin’ Donuts counter, according to police.
Police said the suspects then attempted to use additional counterfeit bills at the Mobil counter, however, the clerk determined the bills were fake and the transaction wasn’t completed.
The suspects are described as a black male wearing all black with a black cap and a black female wearing all black with a red cap. They left the area in a black 2017 Honda Accord that had New Jersey registration plate R73FZZ on the car.
