These Roads Are Closed In Clinton Due To Flooding
Police officials update residents on the conditions in town after an epic storm moved through yesterday. BREAKING

Due to heavy rains last night, a number of areas in Clinton were effected by severe flood waters. While a majority of these waters have receded off of roadways at this point, motorists are advised to employ additional caution as debris has washed into travel lanes. Bridges and other roadway surfaces may have been undermined. DO NOT drive around barricades!
They are in place for for safety. Roadway engineers must assess the damage to structures and surfaces from the swift moving waters and approve them for regular traffic use. DO NOT drive through any large standing puddles of water as the roadway below may be compromised.

Currently, the following roads have impassible areas: Carter Hill Road at Valley Rd.: River Road west of Watrous Road and eastern portions of Pleasant Valley Road. Clinton’s Emergency Services are working to insure the safety of all roadways and assist those residents whose homes were flooded last evening.
