U.S. Coast Guard Band Coming to Clinton
The performance will take place on Friday, Sept. 26.

The United States Coast Guard Band will perform a free concert from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at The Morgan School, 27 Killingworth Turnpike, Clinton.
The programs include music by Copland, Donizetti, Offenbach, John Adams, Sousa, and Arturo Marquez. We will be featuring two works by contemporary American composer Jess Turner, “Black Bolt!” and “Concerto Caboclo” for Flute and Wind Ensemble.
Featured soloists are Musicians 1st Class Megan Weikleenget, soprano, and Laura Pirruccello, flute and piccolo.

For free, required tickets, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, 50 East Main Street, P.O. Box 334, Clinton, CT 06413.
Only requests including self-addressed stamped envelopes will be honored, at a maximum of four tickets per request.

Doors for non-ticket holders open at 7:20 p.m. Every effort will be made to seat those without tickets.
