US Coast Guard Band To Perform In Clinton

CLINTON, CT — Join the Clinton Chamber of Commerce as they continue the tradition of hosting the United States Coast Guard Band in a free performance at The Morgan School Auditorium located at 71 Killingworth Turnpike, on Friday, October 4, at 7:00 pm. The United States Coast Guard Band is a premier concert band representing the United States Coast Guard and Homeland Security and is led by Lt. Commander Adam Williamson.

This concert will include Hector Berlioz’s “Roman Carnival Overture”, Frank Ticheli’s “Blue Shades”, Samuel Barber’s “Knoxville Summer 1915” which will include soprano soloist, MU1 Megan Weikleenget and Percy A. Grainger’s “Lincolnshire Posy” and more.

This free performance is sponsored by Shore Television and Appliances. Tickets are required. Please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, 50 East Main Street, Clinton, CT 06413. Only requests including a SASE will be honored. You can also stop by the Chamber Office between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm during the week to pick up tickets in person. You do not need to be a Clinton resident to get tickets.
