Westbrook Man, 20, Dies in Fatal Accident in Chester: Report

A 20-year-old Westbrook man died early Sunday when his car struck a tree in Chester, according to media reports.

The Middletown Press reports that Paul Josiah Brock died in the 4 a.m. accident on Route 148.

State Police are investigating.

This is the second fatal accident reported recently in Connecticut as two elderly residents died in a car accident in Old Lyme late Saturday.

Norman Enderson, 91, of South Lyme, who was driving, and his passenger, Janice Bretlinger, 87, of Niantic, both died when Enderson lost control of his vehicle and hit a concrete wall, Fox 61 reports.

They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
