Westbrook Woman Accused Of Massive NY Theft Arrested: Report

A woman accused of stealing more than $1 million worth of property turned herself in to state police over last week, according to a report.

WESTBROOK, CT — A woman accused of stealing more than $1 million worth of property turned herself in to state police over last week, according to The New London Day. Jacqueline Jewett, 57, of Westbrook, was arrested as a fugitive from justice.

Jewett is accused of crimes in New York including a second-degree burglary in a dwelling and first-degree grand larceny of greater than $1 million, The New London Day reported.

She was held on $500,000 bond and taken to York Correctional Institution in East Lyme.
