WESTBROOK, CT — A woman accused of stealing more than $1 million worth of property turned herself in to state police over last week, according to <a href="https://www.theday.com/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">The New London Day</a>. Jacqueline Jewett, 57, of Westbrook, was arrested as a fugitive from justice.Jewett is accused of crimes in New York including a second-degree burglary in a dwelling and first-degree grand larceny of greater than $1 million, <a href="https://www.theday.com/state/20221204/westbrook-woman-accused-of-1-million-theft-surrenders/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">The New London Day</a> reported.She was held on $500,000 bond and taken to York Correctional Institution in East Lyme.
