Niche.com says it's determined the nearly top 100 best places to teach in Connecticut. See below for the results.

Where are the best Connecticut school districts to teach?
A new ranking by Niche.com has answered that question, using data about teacher salary, experience and attendance. The recently-released rankings also take into consideration the district's academic, safety and resources.
"A high ranking indicates that the district contains great schools with exceptional teachers who are offered excellent support and compensation," Niche.com said.

The website says the ranking provides a "comprehensive assessment of the quality, support, and compensation a district provides to its teachers."
Connecticut's top five districts for teachers are New Canaan, Westport, Greenwich, Weston and Ridgefield, according to Niche.

The list was created using data various government and public sources, as well as opinion-based survey responses from current students, recent alumni and parents.

- Teachers work in a safe, well-resourced schools and are compensated appropriately for their work
