Greenwich has been awarded $122,250 through the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) to create an ADA trail improvement in the Pomerance Park.
Working with the Town's Assistant Director of Environmental Affairs, Hector's tireless advocacy brought the much needed grant approval home to Cos Cob. The funding will allow for an existing trail to be upgraded allowing for a safe walking path for people with impaired mobility. The Pomerance and Tuchman Park combined with the Pinetum is the largest park in Town, and this path will allow everyone a safe place to enjoy nature.
This is another example of how much Hector cares about every aspect of our Town - from our schools to local businesses to our parks, Hector listens to the needs of our residents and he delivers on a daily basis. He is there for us every day, fighting for us in Hartford because he truly cares. He is a great collaborator in Hartford and they listen to him.
Hector is the best choice for Cos Cob and for Greenwich!
