1 Dead, 1 Injured After I-84 Rollover Crash In Danbury: Police
A man was killed Friday afternoon when he lost control of his car on Interstate 84 near Exit 7 in Danbury.
DANBURY, CT — A man was killed Friday afternoon when he lost control of his car on Interstate 84, Connecticut State Police announced in a news release.
Aaron Thomas Young, 21, of Colchester, was killed after he drove into the left shoulder through the wire rope guardrail and his car crashed down a 50-foot embankment before rolling over. He had been driving eastward on I-84 near Exit 7 in Danbury, around 1:20 p.m.
Troopers declared Young dead at the scene.

Young's passenger, Meriden resident Nicholas Yapoujian, 21, was taken to Danbury Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Police are unclear what caused the crash, which remains under investigation.
