2 Hospitalized After Head-On Collision In Danbury

Both drivers were transported to Danbury Hospital for injuries sustained in the head-on collision.

DANBURY, CT — Two motorists were hospitalized following a head-on collision Thursday night.

The Danbury Police Department received word of the crash at approximately 10:22 p.m.

First responders to the area of Padanaram Road and Jeanette Street the Danbury Police saw that a 2014 Audi A4 had been traveling northbound on Padanaram Road when it collided with a southbound 2010 Suzuki Kizashi sedan. The preliminary investigation showed that one of the motorists had crossed over the double yellow line into the oncoming lane.

Both drivers were transported to Danbury Hospital for injuries sustained in the collision.

The collision is under investigation by the Danbury Police Department's Traffic Unit.
