22nd Halloween on the Danbury Green Promises Scares, Giggles & More
The spooktacular event is planned for Saturday, Nov. 1 at Danbury's City Center Green.

Press release from City Center Danbury:
“Well, how did you die, then?” the old man finally asked. “Die?” Matthew threw back. “Are you crazy? I’m not dead. I’m just very late.” ― J. Tonzelli, The End of Summer: Thirteen Tales of Halloween
Don’t be late. When the clock strikes 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, be on the CityCenter Danbury Green at Ives Street for a “Boo! Ha!” Halloween celebration. Sponsored by the Kiwanis of Danbury, Danbury Jaycees and CityCenter Danbury, the annual Halloween on the Green will kick off with all the costumed merriment that has come to be a tradition downtown.

Thanks to Union Savings Bank, Ventura, Ribeiro & Smith, Dental Associates, Walgreens, and Godfather Promotions, it’s the 22nd scare and chuckle that the entire family can enjoy.
Goodie bags will be provided to the first 500 costumed children, and prizes for Most Original, Scariest, Cutest and Funniest will be awarded after a 3:30 p.m. parade around town. And the judges have an eagle eye out for the “Best of the Best” entries. Entertainment will include Magic Marty, the Tooth Fairy (courtesy of Dental Associates), music by Summit Entertainment, and a Danbury children’s favorite, the Traditional Children’s Games kept very much alive by the Portuguese Cultural Society. A Guess the Weight, Win a Pumpkin contest and a free photo booth, sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank, are also planned.
