No me diga! Danbury's Musicals at Richter will hold an additional casting call on Saturday, April 30 for "In the Heights"

Danbury - Musicals at Richter (MAR), now in its 38th season as the longest-running outdoor theater in Connecticut, will hold an additional casting call by appointment for its opening production of “In the Heights.” Auditions will be held Saturday, April 30 from 10 AM to 1 PM at Richter House Arts Center, 100 Aunt Hack Road, in Danbury, CT (adjacent to Richter Park Golf Course, just off I-84, exit 2).
“In the Heights,” Lin Manuel Miranda’s vibrant, Tony Award-winning hit, opens the MAR season July 1 and plays until July 16. The production is directed and choreographed by veteran MAR director and performer Matthew Farina, with music direction by Andrew Gadwah.
All roles are open. For “In the Heights,” the creative team is especially seeking Latinx and multiethnic performers. Hip hop, breakdancing and Latin dance skills are also a plus. Please note that this is a community-based production; positions are unpaid and no housing is provided.

Following “In the Heights,” MAR will present the beloved Rodgers and Hammerstein classic “The Sound of Music,” which plays July 22 through August 6. The production is directed by MAR veteran Jessica Smith with music direction by Adam Snyder and choreography by MAR veteran Lindsay Miller.
