This endorsement comes less than a week after City Councilman At-Large Alves received a unanimous endorsement from Danbury's state delegation, including include Sen. Julie Kushner, and Representatives Bob Godfrey, David Arconti, Ken Gucker and Raghib Allie-Brennan.

"We've had over 36 volunteers help us hit over 2,000 doors, we've raised over $75,000 without an in-person event, and I was equally honored to receive the unanimous endorsement from Danbury’s State Delegation. Everything we’ve done so far is a component of the catalyst for our success and it’s exciting," Alves said. "These are the kinds of things we need to do to win, to have a Democratic Mayor, and to flip Danbury blue."
