New Restaurants Planned For Former Dressbarn Site In Danbury

DANBURY, CT — Two new restaurants are planned for a commercial property on Federal Road in Danbury, according to leasing materials for the site.

Playa Bowls and Wonder are listed as incoming tenants at 132 Federal Road, the former Dressbarn location, where both businesses are expected to open later this year .

The documents show Wonder will occupy approximately 2,998 square feet, while Playa Bowls is slated for about 1,730 square feet .

Playa Bowls is a national chain known for acai bowls, smoothies and other fruit-based menu items.

Wonder operates a food hall-style concept that brings together multiple restaurant brands under one roof, offering a mix of cuisines from well-known chefs and restaurant partners. Customers can order from multiple menus in a single order.

The two businesses would join other tenants at the site, including Club Pilates and Mobile Rescue, according to the leasing materials .

Two additional spaces remain available at the property.

It was not immediately clear when the businesses plan to open.
