DANBURY, CT — Crews are removing an airport warning tower near Danbury Municipal Airport Wednesday morning due to structural concerns, officials said.
Traffic is being impacted along Wooster Heights Road during the ongoing removal operation, according to the city.
In a Facebook post, the city said the removal operation was urgent. Photos from the scene showed cranes and utility crews working near the airport entrance.
Officials thanked residents and drivers for their patience as the work continues.
