DANBURY, CT — Danbury’s annual Memorial Day Parade is set to return Memorial Day morning with road closures expected along the parade route.
The parade is scheduled for Monday, May 25, beginning at 9:30 a.m., according to the Danbury Council of Veterans.
Organizers said the parade will begin near Rose Street and Main Street before continuing south toward Rogers Park.
A ceremony will follow the parade at Rose Memorial, according to event organizers.
Officials are advising drivers to expect temporary road closures and traffic delays in the downtown area during the event.
The parade is organized by the Danbury Council of Veterans and the City of Danbury.
