Police said the joint investigation ultimately led to the issuance of an arrest warrant for Dominique Harrison, 28, of Danbury.

According to police, Danbury detectives located Harrison and took her into custody Thursday afternoon while executing the warrant.

Harrison is charged with murder with special circumstances. Her bond was set at $750,000.

Police said additional details about the investigation are not being released because the arrest warrant affidavit has been sealed by the court. The investigation remains ongoing.
