DANBURY, CT — A serious car crash has closed Sugar Hollow Road in Danbury on Monday morning, according to police.
Police posted a traffic alert on Facebook around 6:30 a.m.
The accident has closed the road in both directions at the Ridgefield town line (Bennetts Farm Road) and at Miry Brook Road in Danbury.
"We are expecting the roadway to be closed for the next three to four hours," police wrote. "Drivers are asked to find an alternative route heading north and south. Alternatives might include George Washington Highway and/or Rt. 53."
