DANBURY, CT — A growing Danbury company is expanding its local footprint again, with a new warehouse expected to bring additional jobs to the city.
City officials announced Wednesday that LesserEvil, the Danbury-based snack maker, has leased a 96,000-square-foot warehouse that will support the company's continued growth.
According to the city, the facility is expected to open in September and will be used to receive and store materials for the company's operations.
The expansion is expected to create 15 new jobs in Danbury.
"We are proud to have a Danbury-based business continue to succeed and are excited to welcome new opportunities of employment," the city said in a statement.
LesserEvil manufactures its products at its Danbury headquarters and produces popcorn, puffs and other packaged snacks sold nationwide. The company says it has expanded its product lineup in recent years to include newer products such as Moonions, Space Balls and Cheezmos.
