Helicopter Flight School Among 129 New Businesses Registered In Danbury In July

One hundred twenty-nine new businesses registered with the state in Danbury in July, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. The most unusual entry was Apex Helicopters LLC, which registered under the flight training category at 53 Miry Brook Road on July 22.

Manufacturing filings stood out among the mostly service-oriented list, including AB Magic Candles Limited Liability Company, registered under toilet preparation manufacturing, and Butter and Crumb LLC, a cookie and cracker manufacturer. Contracting, retail and real estate made up much of the rest of the month's filings.

State registration marks when a business files paperwork with the Secretary of the State, not necessarily when it opens to customers, so some of these ventures may not yet be operating at the addresses listed.
