DANBURY, CT — Serious injuries were reported after two tractor-trailers collided on Interstate 84 in Danbury early Wednesday morning, according to a report.
The crash occurred around 1:18 a.m. on the I-84 west Exit 1 off-ramp when one tractor-trailer was parked on the right shoulder when a second truck left the travel lane and struck it from behind, according to The News-Times.
Both drivers were initially reported injured, and police later said serious injuries were reported and at least one person was taken to an area hospital by ambulance, according to The News-Times.
