DANBURY, CT — Vans Craft Kitchen has closed its Danbury restaurant, the business announced Tuesday.
The restaurant announced the decision in a message to customers on social media, calling the closure "incredibly difficult."
"We are so grateful to the people of Danbury and the surrounding community who welcomed us, supported us, and kept coming back," the restaurant wrote. "Whether you joined us for dinner, grabbed a seat at the bar, came in for Wing Night, or simply told a friend about us, thank you."
The business also thanked its employees, saying they worked to reshape the location and make Vans "something special."
Vans did not provide a reason for the closure in its announcement.
The owners said customers can still find some of the restaurant's dishes at Echo Craft Kitchen in Watertown and Ideal Tavern in Southington, where they may also see some familiar employees.
"This isn't goodbye. It's see you later," the restaurant wrote.
