DANBURY, CT — A Danbury man was sentenced to 30 months in prison after pleading guilty to possessing child sexual abuse material, according to Connecticut court records.
Justin Edward Prescott, 43, was sentenced Sept. 17 in Danbury Superior Court to 10 years in prison, suspended after 30 months, followed by 12 years of probation.
Court records show Prescott pleaded guilty June 25 to second-degree possession of child sexual abuse material, a Class C felony.
He was arrested by Connecticut State Police on Sept. 12, 2025, according to the court docket.
Investigators found 93 images and 10 videos depicting child sexual abuse material on a laptop, The News-Times reported. Two additional charges were dropped as part of a plea agreement, according to the newspaper.
Prescott was committed to the Department of Correction, court records show.
