Danbury launches new program for teens (newstimes.com) — Danbury teens ages 14 to 17 can now join a new Fire Explorers program that introduces them to firefighting and emergency medical service skills while building leadership and teamwork. Backed by a $13,000 donation, the program launches with an Oct. 3 open house at the Danbury Fire Training Facility on Plumtrees Road, offering hands-on activities and mentorship from local firefighters.
