DANBURY, CT — The former Puppy Love pet store building on Danbury's west side could soon have a new look — and new businesses.
The commercial property at 37 Lake Ave. Ext. is being marketed for retail use, with plans for a complete exterior resurfacing, according to a listing from Tower Realty Corporation.
The freestanding building offers up to 5,202 square feet of retail space, with the option to divide it into smaller units starting at 2,601 square feet, according to the listing.
The property is advertised at $20 per square foot annually, with additional expenses under a triple-net lease arrangement.
The building previously housed Puppy Love, a longtime Danbury pet store that closed in 2023.
The listing identifies Michael Dimyan and Joe Dimyan of Tower Realty Corporation as the property's brokers.
While the marketing materials outline plans for the building's exterior and potential retail uses, they do not identify any incoming businesses or provide an anticipated opening date.
More information about the property is available through Tower Realty Corporation.
