DANBURY, CT — Danbury has a crowded open-house weekend. It includes a loft in Danbury Mill, an 1882 former fur-cutting factory its listing ties to the city's hat-making past.
There's also a Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired mountaintop house with a two-story barn the listing pitches to artists and car collectors, a Candlewood Lake home with its own dock, and a Deer Hill Avenue antique with a 500-square-foot studio over the garage.
Twenty-one Danbury homes are holding open houses Saturday, Oct. 10, and Sunday, Oct. 11, with prices from $289,900 to $1,195,000, according to Zillow.com.

9 Holley St., 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (also Sunday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.), $439,000. Listed Oct. 6, this 1938 Colonial has hardwood floors, an updated granite kitchen opening to a backyard deck and a walk-up attic for storage. It's a three-bedroom, two-bath home with 1,276 square feet.
19 Mountainville Road, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (also Sunday, 2 to 5 p.m.), $564,000. This 1991 house has wood floors, exposed beams and vaulted ceilings with skylights, and a kitchen with an island. Outside are a stone patio, a gazebo, terraced landscaping and stone retaining walls against a wooded backdrop. It's a two-bedroom, two-bath home with 1,606 square feet on 0.83 acres.
7 Rodline Road, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (also Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.), $597,000. This 1970 raised ranch has a functional layout and a roof about two years old, according to the listing. It's a three-bedroom, two-bath home with 1,864 square feet on 0.46 acres.
55 Mill Plain Road #9-2, noon to 2 p.m. (also Sunday, noon to 2 p.m.), $379,900. This Westwood Village townhouse has a living room with a fireplace, a deck, a primary bedroom with a dressing area and a two-car garage. Residents share two pools, a fenced dog park and a playground. New to the market Oct. 9, this unit is in Danbury Mill, an 1882 former fur-cutting factory that, according to the listing, played a role in the city's hat-making industry. This cottage-style 1951 Cape in Wooster Heights has an upper-level primary suite with skylights that the listing says feels like a treehouse and suggests for a creative enthusiast. A deck overlooks a private yard with stone terraces, the heating system and water heater are new, and there's a shop space above the garage. It's a three-bedroom, two-bath home with 1,695 square feet.
Four new-construction homes are open Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. Two are in Rivington Meadows, which their listings describe as a 55-and-older community, and Zillow flags a third as a senior community.

11 Mannions Lane #14, 2 to 5 p.m. (also Sunday, 2 to 5 p.m.), $385,000. Listed Oct. 6, this townhouse, minutes from downtown Bethel and downtown Danbury, has hardwood floors, in-unit laundry, a private deck and a one-car garage. It's a two-bedroom, 1.5-bath condo with 1,524 square feet; the HOA fee is $300 a month.

7 Field Road, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., $550,000. Being sold by its owner, this 1961 ranch in the Clapboard Ridge community has hardwood floors, a covered deck, a gas fireplace, a whole-house generator and a finished basement. The listing says all showings, including the open house, must be scheduled with the owner. It's a three-bedroom, two-bath home with 2,000 square feet.
