From sprawling country estates to Candlewood Lake waterfront homes, Danbury's five priciest listings offer some remarkable amenities.

DANBURY, CT — Danbury's priciest home for sale is an 80-acre estate with a red clay tennis court and an artist's studio, listed at $12.5 million. It's one of two big Long Ridge Road estates leading the city's five most expensive homes on Zillow.com, and the other three sit on Candlewood Lake.

No. 1 on the list is Bloomsbury Ridge at 125 Long Ridge Road, asking $12,500,000. The 9,140-square-foot country house, built in 1931, has five bedrooms, six full bathrooms and one half bathroom on 79.51 acres. Inside are a two-story library, a great room and several fireplaces. Outside are a secluded pool, a red clay tennis court, fields and woods, an orchard, a vegetable garden and a separate artist's studio with double-height ceilings and its own kitchen and bath. The listing notes West Redding's train station is 1.5 miles away and Danbury Airport about 10 minutes. It has been on Zillow for 25 days.

The 5,824-square-foot house, built in 1925 as a country retreat, has three bedrooms, four full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. The grounds include woodland trails, a stone bridge, a pond, a brook, orchards, gardens and about 2 miles of groomed paths through the estate's own nature preserve. It has been on Zillow for 143 days.

Rounding out the top three is a waterfront Deck House on Candlewood Lake at 94 Forty Acre Mountain Road, which hit Zillow on Oct. 26 at $2,495,000. Built in 1987, the post-and-beam contemporary has 4,400 square feet, four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and one half bathroom on 0.65 acres with more than 116 feet of lake frontage. It has soaring wood ceilings, a great room with walls of windows and a floor-to-ceiling fieldstone fireplace, and a three-car garage.

No. 4 is another Candlewood Lake house, 19 Cedar Drive, listed at $1,850,000 after a $25,000 price cut on Oct. 16. Built in 1959 and remodeled around 2000, the 3,264-square-foot house has four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, 180-degree lake views and a great room with a beamed ceiling, skylights and a stone fireplace. It has been on Zillow for 230 days.
