Boehringer Ingelheim Recognized for Supporting AmeriCares Clinic

Curt Welling (right), president and CEO of AmeriCares, thanks J. Martin Carroll (left), retiring president and CEO of Boehringer Ingelheim USA Corporation, for his long-standing commitment to provide health care to local patients in need. The Boehringer Ingelheim Cares Foundation has supported the Boehringer Ingelheim AmeriCares Free Clinic of Danbury with charitable contributions since 2002. Over the years, Boehringer Ingelheim employees have volunteered over 300 hours at the clinic. Since its opening in 1997, more than 7,500 patients have benefited from the clinic’s services through more than 39,000 patient visits.
