
Danbury, CT; 02/15/19 –The Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Danbury raised more than $900 for Housatonic Habitat for Humanity with its annual ‘Teach-A-Thon’ in January. Dance instructors donated their time giving half-hour lessons in support of the special Housatonic Habitat event.
“I think people had a lot of fun,” said Fran Normann, Executive Director of Housatonic Habitat for Humanity, “and we are grateful to all the dancers and to everyone at Arthur Murray for supporting our mission.” Andy Cabell, Owner & Instructor of Arthur Murray of Danbury stated “we share Habitat’s mission of making sustainable change in the greater Danbury community. We are pleased to support Habitat in a way that highlights our time and talents in a way that is fun, but gets the job done.”
Housatonic Habitat for Humanity is the local Habitat affiliate servicing western Connecticut. It is both a builder and a bank, providing workforce affordable housing to local first time home buyers.
