Author of "The Garden Tourist" to speak at Danbury Library
Author Jana Milbocker will speak about exceptional gardens located in New England.
From Danbury Library: Author Jana Milbocker will speak about exceptional gardens located in New England, the Hudson River Valley in New York, eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey that she selected from her book "The Garden Tourist: 120 Destinations and Nurseries in the Northeast". The program will be held on Thursday, March 21 from 5:30-6:30pm at the Danbury Library. Ms. Milbocker will share historical information, overviews of each garden’s design, their unique features and horticulture, along with recommendations on the best times to visit them.
Jana Milbocker is an avid gardener, plant collector, garden designer and writer. She lectures on a variety of gardening topics and has presented at the Boston and Connecticut Flower Shows, Massachusetts Horticultural Society, and at many garden clubs and organizations. Jana is the owner of Enchanted Garden, a landscape design and installation firm in MA.
Copies of her book “The Garden Tourist” will be available for purchase and signing.
