DANBURY, CT — Riding a wave of renewed interest in reading in general and paper books in particular, Barnes & Noble has announced the opening of a new store in the Danbury Fair Mall.

The bookseller will be relocating from Danbury Square down the road into the space formerly occupied by Arhaus. The new store is 20,000 sq. ft. across two floors, opposite Old Navy on Level One and across from Ulta Beauty on Level Two. It will officially open to the public at 10:00 a.m. on Apr. 12, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and book signing by author Amy Poeppel.

"We have enjoyed a very happy 32 years at our Danbury Square location which was one of the earliest stores to be opened by Barnes & Noble. We are so pleased to be moving such a short distance down the road and to such a prominent location,” said James Daunt, CEO, Barnes & Noble. "We will also include a B&N Café — a feature we know will be especially welcomed."
