Danbury Music Centre

The Danbury Music Centre, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been the center of community music for Danbury and its environs. Founded in 1935 by Donald N. Tweedy, a nationally respected musician and music educator. A unique institution, the Danbury Music Centre provides local musicians of varying ages and levels of accomplishment the opportunity to perform and bring the joy of music to themselves and to members of their community.
